Established in 1951, the ALabama Nursery & Landscape Association (ALNLA) is a professional association for those involved in and allied to the ornamental horticulture industry. Our Economic Impact Study shows what we suspected to be true—our industry contributes a whopping 1.9 billion dollars, including 31,000 jobs, to the economy of our state annually. The mission of the ALNLA, a non-profit trade association whose business is conducted by an elected board of directors, is to promote the success and professionalism of its membership. Through its annual Gulf States Horticulture Expo, educational seminars around the state, participation in the Southeast Greenhouse Conference, and the Southern Nursery Association, and its links with other organizations both in Alabama and across the nation, the ALNLA strives to provide the information and support to make your business more efficient and profitable. Our President's Message

Rain! Rain! Rain!  Has this not been a great spring with all the rain we have had!  I hope for all you Garden Centers this has been a great impetus for people to get out and plant their gardens, thus coming in to buy lots of plants.  All of the garden centers I have talked to this spring have said that April was amazing and business was wonderful. I hope that mood has kept up into May and this will be a great year for us all.
